About the FIRST_CHECK category

The FIRST_CHECK category is the starting point for ZFI governance proposals.

Use this space to post early-stage ideas and test community interest before they advance to a formal vote and become a ZIP (Zyfai Improvement Proposal).

:white_check_mark: Who can submit?

To submit a FIRST_CHECK, you must hold at least 200,000 ZFI.

:light_bulb: What belongs here?

  • Governance changes (voting, staking, treasury rules)
  • Plugin-based strategy ideas for ZyFAI
  • Paymaster improvements or integrations
  • New utility or reward ideas for stZFI holders
  • Any initiative needing DAO approval

:memo: How it works:

  1. Submit a proposal using the FIRST_CHECK template.
  2. Community discusses it for at least 5 days.
  3. If no Protector rejects the proposal in that time, it moves to a Snapshot vote.
  4. If the vote passes, it can proceed to the ZIP phase.
