📌 How to Submit a [FIRST_CHECK] Proposal

Welcome to the FIRST_CHECK category!

This is the first step in Zyfi governance — where ideas are posted, discussed, and validated before becoming formal votes (ZIPs).

:white_check_mark: Who can submit a FIRST_CHECK?

You must hold at least 200,000 ZFI to create a new proposal.

  1. Create a new topic in this category.
  2. Use the template below.
  3. Allow at least 5 days for community discussion.
  4. If no Protector rejects it with a standardized comment, it moves to Snapshot for a vote.

:ballot_box_with_ballot: What happens next?

  • After 5 days, and if no Protector rejects the proposal, it will be added to Snapshot.
  • Voting will open 2 days after the post, and last for 5 days.
  • For the vote to pass:
    • For now around half of all staked ZFI (stZFI) must participate (quorum).
    • “Yes” votes must outnumber “No” votes.

If the vote passes, the proposal can move on to the ZIP phase.
